Mary Messer

Mary is an experienced consultant focused on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and Organizational Transformation, passionate about bringing forth a more equitable and inclusive work environment. She specializes in disability inclusion and is a consultant at Disability:IN, the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide. Prior, Mary spent 13 years at Nike holding roles of increasing responsibility across Finance and Operations. She led the development of Nike’s first enterprise strategy for disability inclusion and served as an embedded EDI resource within Nike’s Workplace Experience team.
Mary earned a Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and End-User Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Originally from Wisconsin, Mary is currently based in Portland, Oregon. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and traveling with her husband.
